JaKe is a composer arranger/orchestrator, and bassist who writes and produces in a plethora of styles comfortably, whether it be bombastic and cinematic orchestral pieces, stirring yet tranquil chamber music, big band or small ensemble jazz, electronic music, math rock, or pieces for solo bass guitar. He earned his BM in Composition from University of the Arts, and his Masters of Music in Music Theory and Composition: Screen Scoring at NYU.

JaKe has been writing for the Broadway Beats live comedy musical series Third Act, as well as their video series Spotlight On. He recently wrote the score for Humpty, a spoof short of an A24 Trailer, which won Best Low Budget Film at the Night of Comedy Shorts as well as Official Selection for the 6th annual Hollywood Comedy Shorts Festival. Above all else, JaKe loves story telling, and strives to communicate as much as possible through his music.
